This single-day pediatric trauma course is tailored for junior registrars (ST3-5) and offers a blend of interactive lectures and hands-on practical sessions.
During the morning session, participants engage in interactive case-based discussions, exploring various aspects of pediatric trauma.
In the afternoon, attendees rotate through practical stations, where they gain hands-on experience in procedures such as K-wiring of supracondylar fractures, flexible intramedullary nailing, application of hip spica casts, and techniques for fixing ankle fractures, including triplane fractures.
The day concludes with a Q&A session to address any lingering questions or concerns from the course.
