This module develops advanced core POCUS skills used in everyday acute and emergency practice. Participants refine their ability to perform rapid bedside assessments and integrate ultrasound findings into clinical management.
Focus areas include
- Hepato–biliary Ultrasound: Gallstones and masses, IHBR dilatation, cholecystitis, liver masses
- Renal Ultrasound: Renal mass, Pelvi–calyceal dilatation
- Ocular Ultrasound: Raised ICT, Retrobulbar hematoma, vitreous hemorrhage and retinal detachment, FB eye
- DVT assessment
- MSK US: FB detection, Common tendon tears and rupture
- Regional anaesthesia: Serrateous Anterior Muscle plane and Erector spinae block
- Clinical integration and case-based scenarios
