The Oxford Medical ST & CT Interview Course is designed to help you succeed and stand out from the competition. It is the essential interview preparation course, delivered by NHS Consultants.
The competition for positions in the UK’s ST, CT, ACCS, or IMT programmed training is usually intense. There were more applications than in previous years for the over 8,000 positions available for commencement in August 2022, resulting in a fill rate of 99.7%. For each post, there are often two applicants. In some areas, there may be up to nine candidates for a single position. Each year, the precise ratios for each role vary and can be difficult to predict; Health Education England has been less specific about the most recent intake than in prior years. Given the level of competition, effective preparation is crucial to stand out and succeed in the interview process.
The ST & CT Medical Interview Course
Our course, held in our virtual training room, is designed for doctors seeking to enter a core training programmed or a specialty training programmed. It covers both core surgical training and internal medicine training. We help you understand the current structure of your CT, ST, ACCS, or IMT medical interview in terms of its purpose, aims, and format.
Accredited for 6 CPD points
Please note: Each event is expected to include doctors exploring a wide range of training posts, including those interested in pursuing physician-based disciplines and others aspiring to a career in surgery. It is important to note that this course does not include coaching or instruction on technical or clinical skills.
