• Focused Assessment with Sonography in Trauma (FAST)
• Detection of free fluid (haemoperitoneum, pericardial effusion)

• Basic DVT scanning techniques
3. Cardiac Ultrasound (Echo in Life Support – ELS)

• Assessment of cardiac activity in arrest (PEA)
4. Lung Ultrasound
• Identification of pneumothorax, pleural effusion, and consolidation (B-lines)
