NMERC runs online on Saturday 14 November, with oral and poster tracks. Abstract submission is free and closes 31 October. Students whose abstracts pass quality control can present nationally, which turns one teaching point into a route to up to nine points on IMT applications.

Assessment includes in-module and end-of-module quizzes, a final test, and up to two workplace-based assignments requiring evidence of teaching (feedback or reports). The live day is optional, as the self-paced portion alone is enough for certification, though some applications may require the live element for points.
