They're essentially the same course — the terminology differs by specialty. Medical specialties use "Teach the Teacher" while surgical specialties prefer "Train the Trainer". For IMT applications, you need a minimum of 6 hours of synchronous (live) teaching to score 1 point — this must be additional to your medical degree. For CST, teaching evidence is assessed on the A–E letter grade scale rather than specific duration requirements. For portfolio evidence, it depends on the format. Most IMT and ACCS applications require synchronous (live) teaching, so asynchronous self-paced courses will not score the teaching point.
