This course is aimed at clinicians and healthcare educators at any level who want to feel more confident when teaching students, colleagues, or trainees. It's suitable for those starting to teach who want key knowledge and practical tips to deliver teaching sessions successfully, as well as for experienced educators who want to sharpen their skills and improve the quality of their teaching. If you are applying for specialty training, this course provides valuable points in the training in teaching category: IMT/ACCS 1 point, Ophthalmology 0.5 points, CST Indicator D, Higher specialty training (ST3/ST4) 1 point.
The course runs 9.30am–5.30pm synchronously via Zoom and is led by experienced educators in medical and eLearning fields: Dr Mahibur Rahman FRCGP (Consultant in Medical Education, MSc Health Informatics, specialist in interactive learning technologies), Masuda Rahman MMedEd (Director of eLearning), and Anna Greathead MAODE (eLearning Development and Mentoring).
