About this course
ISC Medical provides personalised one-to-one interview coaching for doctors preparing for CT, ST, and Registrar posts. Each session is 1.5 hours long and delivered via Zoom (webcam or telephone), tailored entirely to your individual needs and the specific posts you have applied for.
The coaching focuses on the areas candidates find most challenging: motivation, suitability, governance, ethics, and professionalism. It does not cover clinical questions. Before your session, the trainer reviews your CV, application form, job description, and person specification to prepare thoroughly. A typical session includes a brief discussion of your concerns and agenda (5 mins), an initial mock interview under timed conditions to assess strengths and weaknesses (10 mins), targeted work on interview techniques and frameworks (30 mins), further practice with mini mock interviews (40 mins), and a Q&A on body language and other issues (5 mins).
