Station 1 covers suitability and commitment, medical registrar suitability (including a 1-minute acute take presentation), and ethics/professionalism questions. Station 2 presents two timed clinical scenarios with communication scored across the station. You'll learn how to structure clear, high-scoring answers using proven frameworks, tackle challenging clinical scenarios with high-level registrar thinking, and communicate effectively in difficult conversations. The course covers six scored domains: professional values and behaviours, professional skills, professional knowledge, capabilities in health promotion and illness prevention, capabilities in leadership and teamworking, and capabilities in patient safety and quality improvement.
The online course includes 50+ expert-written topics and over 100 clinical questions across cardiology scenarios (from hypotension post-angiogram to syncope management), ethical dilemmas (DVLA guidance, capacity, delegating under pressure), and professionalism questions.
