About this course
Med Success UK offers a comprehensive, bespoke pathway to help doctors progress in their NHS career and secure Specialist Registrar (SPR/ST4) training posts. Developed and led by Dr Aleem Ahmed, an experienced NHS Consultant in Infectious Diseases and General Medicine with a Masters in Medical Education, the programme combines expert-led courses with self-paced learning and personalised mentoring.
The core 6-month package includes:
• Monthly webinars covering application strategy, interview techniques, communication skills, and presentation optimisation
• Small group tutorials for focused learning and peer support
• Monthly one-to-one coaching and interview practice sessions with Dr Aleem Ahmed
• Comprehensive guidance on building an effective, goal-driven CV
• Tailored curriculum designed specifically for NHS Specialist Registrar interview preparation
You'll develop the skills, knowledge and techniques needed to become the strongest candidate possible. The programme focuses on three key areas: optimising your NHS application, mastering interview performance, and enhancing your communication and presentation style. A shorter 2-month introductory package is also available to experience the support on offer before committing to the full 6-month course.
Dr Aleem Ahmed brings extensive NHS experience in medical education, having successfully mentored dozens of doctors into training posts and held senior education roles within an NHS University Teaching Hospital. Med Success UK is run by practising NHS doctors with genuine expertise in NHS training recruitment, distinguishing it from generic coaching services.
