MRCS Boot Camp UK's flagship onsite course is an intensive 2-day hands-on masterclass designed to bridge the gap between surgical theory and practice. Held in world-class 5-star hotel venues across London, Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, and other global hubs, the course provides elite procedural skills training under the guidance of experienced UK-based instructors with 10+ years of NHS experience.
The curriculum is mapped 1:1 to the Intercollegiate Surgical Curriculum and structured around high-yield stations covering history taking, clinical examination, communication, and procedural skills. Each 8 AM to 6 PM day immerses candidates in realistic exam-style stations, including complex communication scenarios (consent, breaking bad news, surgical counselling) and hands-on procedural practice.
Practical skills training covers essential surgical tasks including knot-tying, suturing, excisions, chest drain insertions, urinary catheterisation, IV cannulation, abscess drainage, and naevus excision. All stations use full sets of NHS-grade equipment and high-fidelity mannequins to simulate real surgical environments.
Every candidate receives an exclusive candidate kit to take home, containing basic surgical instruments, suture pads, abscess drainage and naevus excision pads, and 24 sutures for ongoing practice. The course features limited seats to ensure highly interactive, personalised tuition. World-class catering and a professional 5-star venue environment complete the learning experience.
