About Wavelength
Consultant-led point-of-care ultrasound courses for emergency and acute clinicians. The core course covers six core modules: physics and knobology, eFAST, AAA, echo in life support, vascular access, and governance and sign-off, taught by FAMUS-accredited instructors and RCEM-approved ultrasound supervisors. Courses are one day, small-group, and hands-on from the first hour.
Each module follows the same structure: short focused teaching, live demonstration, then supervised scanning practice at multiple stations until the views come easily. Delegates receive a certificate, logbook template and guidance on supervised scans and assessment for sign-off in their own department. Open to doctors at every grade in emergency, acute and internal medicine, plus advanced clinical practitioners, physician associates and GPs in urgent care.
