About this course
The MRCGP AKT Pass Guarantee Programme is a comprehensive, structured revision course designed to help GP trainees pass the MRCGP Applied Knowledge Test on their first or subsequent attempt. Led by Dr Mahibur Rahman, a Portfolio GP and Consultant in Medical Education who has helped thousands of doctors succeed in their MRCGP examinations since 2006, the programme addresses the most common reasons for failure: insufficient preparation time, unsystematic coverage of the clinical curriculum, poor exam technique, and weak understanding of statistics and the organisational domain.
The programme is available in two formats: a 90-day intensive schedule or a 150-day extended version. Both cover identical content and learning outcomes; the 150-day option spreads study across a longer period to accommodate doctors with significant work or personal commitments. Participants receive over 235 hours of guided study material covering more than 4,500 practice questions, alongside reading from the RCGP, NICE, and other key sources. The programme requires daily commitment: approximately 1.5 hours on weekdays and 2–3 hours on weekends.
The package includes:
- Comprehensive AKT Preparation Course (2-day in-person or online format)
- 7 targeted webinars covering high-yield clinical revision, statistics, and organisational domain topics
- AKT Full Mock Crammer (full-length exam simulation)
- AKT Half Mock Crammer (focused revision session)
- Clinical Case Cards for applied learning
- 4 additional AKT mock exams
- Online access to all revision materials until exam day
