About this course
An intensive, interactive 2-day live webinar covering 100 GP cases and how to approach them — history and data gathering, red flags, relevant examination, diagnosis, current guidelines for management, and key interpersonal skills. Twenty of the 100 cases feature interactive simulated-patient demonstrations showing key consultation skills live.
Delivered by Dr Mahibur Rahman, the medical director of Emedica, who sat the first ever CSA exam in 2007 (awarded a pass with merit) and has taught MRCGP exam preparation for over 20 years to registrars and GP trainers across the UK. The course structures each case to cover data gathering (history and examination), clinical management (diagnosis, management, other risks, follow-up, safety netting), and interpersonal/communication skills.
The course is ideal for:
- Doctors starting or preparing for their first GP rotation
- Doctors returning to GP after a break
- Doctors preparing for MRCGP exams (SCA/RCA, MICGP CCT, MRCGP International OSCE)
- Doctors seeking practical CPD refresher for everyday consulting
Each day runs 09:30–17:30 with breaks and lunch, structured into morning and afternoon clinic sessions covering cases 1–50 (Day 1) and cases 51–100 (Day 2). The page indicates this specific session is "FULLY BOOKED" but also notes that a recorded version is available for instant on-demand subscription for those who cannot attend live.
