MRCP Events for UK Doctors

MedCourse lists courses for all three MRCP stages: Part 1 (written), Part 2 (written), and PACES (clinical). You'll find live revision courses, online question banks, and mock PACES practice. PACES uses the PACES23 format: a 5-station carousel with 8 encounters — two 20-minute consultation stations, three 10-minute communication encounters, and three 10-minute clinical examination encounters. Make sure any course you book covers this current format. Note that from June 2026, MRCP written exams (Part 1 and Part 2) have transitioned from remote online proctoring back to physical test centres using computer-based testing (CBT).

Written exam revision courses range from around £125 for a weekend course to £300+ for multi-month online access. PACES preparation courses are more expensive (£400–£1,000+) because they involve practical stations with examiners. Online question banks often offer monthly subscriptions from £20–£50. For Part 1 and Part 2, most candidates benefit from a revision course 4–8 weeks before the exam. For PACES, book a mock circuit at least 6–8 weeks out to give yourself time to work on weak stations. Popular courses fill up quickly around exam season.
