Airway Skills Courses for UK Doctors

Any doctor who may need to manage an airway in an emergency — that includes ED doctors, anaesthetists, intensive care trainees, and acute medicine physicians. Foundation doctors benefit from basic airway courses; advanced courses (including fibreoptic intubation and surgical airway) are aimed at anaesthetic and EM trainees.

Most courses cover bag-mask ventilation, laryngeal mask insertion, direct and video laryngoscopy, and the failed intubation drill. Advanced courses add supraglottic devices, fibreoptic techniques, and surgical cricothyroidotomy. All use simulation manikins for hands-on practice.
