Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis in 1 Weekend

Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis in 1 Weekend is a practical research training course run by Research Boot Camp, delivering complete systematic review and meta-analysis projects in a single intensive weekend at the London Marriott Heathrow Hotel.

The workshop operates as a collaborative research experience where participants join live, in-person projects led by experienced faculty. All participants contribute to screening titles and abstracts, data extraction, statistical analysis, and manuscript preparation—and all receive authorship credit on the final published paper. The course culminates in journal submission, backed by a 100% submission guarantee: if your manuscript isn't submitted, your fee is refunded in full.

Two participation levels are offered. The First Author (Project Lead) role gives you ultimate project ownership, the right to choose the research topic, first-author credit, and the responsibility to manage the project lifecycle from conception through to journal submission. Co-Authors (Project Members) contribute collaboratively to the same manuscript and gain co-authorship status on publication. Both roles include 12 months of full access to Metysis (the platform used to manage peer-review revisions and project administration) and lifetime read-only access to the project dataset.

The weekend runs from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm over two days, 15–16 August 2026. Laptops, software, and meals are provided. The course is open to doctors at all career stages—foundation doctors, medical students, international medical graduates (IMGs), and SAS doctors are all welcome.
