This interactive, three-day online course provides consultant and senior trainee radiologists with comprehensive teaching on how to best use, interpret, and report PET-CT imaging in clinical practice. Delivered by Infomed Ltd, the course features short theory lectures followed by intensive supervised interpretation and reporting practice using your own PACS access to real cases.
The course covers a wide range of clinical applications across multiple specialties: instrumentation and tracer physics, head and neck imaging, endocrinology (thyroid and adrenal), breast imaging, skin cancer, lung cancer, haematology, prostate cancer and urology, gynaecology, paediatric PET-CT, cardiac infection and inflammation, generalised infection and inflammation, myeloma, miscellaneous tumours, renal disease, gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatic imaging, and neuroendocrine tumours. The programme also covers new PET tracers and emerging applications.
By the end of the course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of PET-CT in both specialist and district general settings, improved skills in interpreting PET-CT images, tips and tricks to avoid common misses and subtle abnormalities, identification of knowledge gaps for future development, and an instructive educational experience suited to everyday MDT and reporting practice.
