About this course
The In-depth Neuroradiology Course 2026 is a two-day intensive online event designed for consultant general radiologists, neurologists, and senior trainees who wish to deepen their understanding and reporting of neuroradiology in clinical practice. Delivered live and online on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 June 2026, the course combines short theory lectures with interactive interpretation and reporting sessions using a cloud-based DICOM viewer (PostDICOM), allowing participants to review cases on their own screens in real time.
The course is structured to be practical, stimulating, and comprehensive. Each session begins with a brief introduction from expert faculty, followed by case-based learning with interactive questions, top tips, pitfalls identification, and take-home messages. Topics span the full breadth of neuroradiology including normal anatomy and MR sequences, paediatric pathologies, neuro-ophthalmology, vascular disorders, movement disorders, dementia, stroke and TIA, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, brain tumours, inflammatory diseases, and neuroinfections. The faculty comprises leading consultant neuroradiologists from major UK neuroscience centres including the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), King's College Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, and others.
By the end of the course, delegates will have increased confidence in daily neuroradiology interpretation, a comprehensive understanding of brain and spine pathology and imaging findings, deeper knowledge of appropriate imaging use in different diagnoses, practical tips to avoid common pitfalls and identify subtle abnormalities, and confidence in making appropriate referral decisions. The course emphasizes case-based learning with interactive discussions, Q&A via the chat facility, and immediate feedback from expert faculty. Attendees receive a CPD Certificate of attendance with 12 CPD points, 90 days of on-demand access to recordings with unlimited playback, and full access to all DICOM cases for independent review during and beyond the course.
Infomed, established in 2004 in the UK, is a provider of CPD-accredited online courses for doctors across all major specialties. This neuroradiology course has been popular and well-regarded since its launch in 2019, with past attendees consistently praising the quality of content, expert faculty, interactive nature, and technical support provided.
