At Bromley Emergency Courses, we’ve been teaching how to do Ultrasound Guided Vascular Access on our Core Emergency Ultrasound course for many years. In addition to that, we’ve now developed a short half-day course dedicated to Ultrasound-Guided Cannulation for a wider range of clinicians:
- Phlebotomists
- Health-care assistants
- Nurses
- Paramedics
- Foundation Doctors (FY1/FY2)
The only pre-course requirement is that you should be working in a service where you are regularly involved in cannulation.
On the course, you will practice vascular scanning on human volunteers and cannula insertion on realistic models. When you book the course, you’ll also have the option to purchase your own vascular access model for £20 to continue practising afterwards.
