Who is the course for?
Senior trainees, registrars, and consultants in anaesthetics or ICU seeking to learn the safe insertion and management of percutaneous tracheostomies.
Course Format:
- Online pre-recorded lectures to be viewed prior to the course.
- A manual will be sent out before the course.
- On the course day, a half-day of practical sessions in small groups.
By the end of the workshop, participants should be able to demonstrate the practical skills required for endoscopic-guided percutaneous tracheostomy placement and manage emergency complications in simulated conditions.
