Course Description:
During the Intelligent PACES clinical skills course, candidates will engage in a carousel format, examining patients in timed conditions. Each case can serve as a mock exam for those ready for a stress test of their skills, with a built-in mock exam to thoroughly evaluate their readiness.
Our instructors are carefully chosen registrars and consultants with extensive PACES teaching experience or who are PACES examiners themselves. The single-day course is intensive yet comprehensive, featuring 15-20 hand-picked patients exhibiting key clinical signs, including those who have participated in MRCP PACES exams.
By maintaining a strict limit of no more than 2 candidates per bedside and pairing each patient with an instructor, we ensure the most intense and focused teaching experience possible. We run a limited number of courses each year, with a strict cap on candidate numbers to maintain the highest teaching quality.
