This workshop will teach you about equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). You will learn about the definitions, benefits, and challenges of EDI, as well as the legal obligations set out in the Equality Act.
Specifically, you will learn about:
- The range of protected characteristics
- Direct and indirect discrimination
- Discrimination by perception or association
- Harassment
- Victimisation
You will also learn about regulatory guidance on EDI and how to apply it in real-world scenarios.
Additionally, you will receive tips on how to promote equal and inclusive working relationships.
The workshop includes a mix of presentations and whole/small group discussions. It is led by an expert in training and risk management and is accredited for 3 CPD credits.
