The ENT Emergency Skills for Trainees Course

The ENT Emergency Skills for Trainees course aims to enhance the confidence and knowledge of trainee medical professionals regularly or occasionally involved with ENT pathologies. It will provide a comprehensive overview of common emergency ENT conditions in patients who present to primary or secondary care.

The course features hands-on, practical teaching with a high faculty-to-learner ratio, within a structured yet informal and relaxed learning environment. Participants will learn strategies for the evaluation and management of these patients, building their knowledge, skills, and safe behaviour. This will boost their confidence and provide a foundation for further clinical experience.

Who Should Attend?

The course will be of particular interest to:

– Core Medical and Surgical Trainees

– Foundation Year Medical and Surgical Trainees

Additionally, the course aligns with curriculum competencies in the Foundation Programme, Core Medical and Surgical Training, Emergency Medicine, General Practice, and Paediatrics.
