Aimed at middle years and senior trainees (ST4 to ST7), this one-day course offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to perform essential open urological emergency procedures using fresh cadaveric material.
Programme Includes
- Open cystostomy
- Reimplantation of the ureter with psoas hitch
- Boari flap
- Transuretero-ureterostomy
- Emergency renal exploration
Course Structure
Each cadaver will be assigned to two delegates, ensuring a low delegate-to-faculty ratio. While some didactic teaching will be included, the main emphasis of the course is to provide hands-on practical experience.
