In this medical and surgical CT, ST, and SpR interview skills course, you will engage in interactive discussions, personal practice, and small-group workshops to learn:
- How to structure your answers during medical interviews to avoid rambling
- How to personalise your responses using examples from your experience and achievements
- How to use each question as an opportunity to highlight your strengths
- How to offer well-considered opinions on governance and current NHS issues
- How to build rapport with interviewers and deliver natural, engaging answers
- Key interview techniques to address any question effectively
This course is tailored for candidates applying to CT, ST, or SpR positions and covers all major aspects tested in these interviews. It is also fully relevant for candidates applying for non-training posts (staff grade).
To ensure high-quality instruction, we limit participation to a maximum of 12 individuals per course, allowing ample time to address any personal issues or questions you may have.
The course includes practical sessions using real CT and ST interview questions from previous interviews. If you have specific issues or questions you’d like to discuss, bring them along, and we will do our best to incorporate them into the course.
