This one-day course is suitable for new entrants to Urology (CT1/2 – ST3) and offers an introduction to common core urological procedures.
Key Endoscopic Lower Urinary Tract Procedures
- Flexible cystoscopy
- Rigid cystoscopy
- Transurethral resection of the prostate/bladder
- Insertion of ureteric stent
Open Peno-Scrotal Procedures
- Exploration of the scrotum
- Fixation of the testis
- Circumcision
Course Structure
Each cadaver will be assigned to two delegates, ensuring a low delegate-to-faculty ratio. While some didactic teaching will be included, the main emphasis of the course is to provide hands-on operating experience.
