This course is targeted at CT1 / ST2 level trainees and addresses components of the ISCP curriculum necessary for progression to ST3. Candidates should have completed a Basic Surgical Skills course prior to attending.
Over two days, this hands-on course will utilise fresh frozen cadaveric material and cover the following:
- Laparotomy
- Laparoscopy
- Laparoscopic/Open Appendicectomy
- Inguinal Hernia Repair
- Small Bowel Resection/Anastomosis
- Approach to the Femoral Artery
