By participating in this course, you will acquire proficiency in skin suturing, plastering, digital nerve blocks, joint aspiration, emergency fracture treatment, and spinal immobilisation.
Course Objectives:
- Introduce basic procedural skills relevant for junior doctors undertaking orthopaedic placements or handling emergency orthopaedic cases.
- Provide foundational knowledge and principles essential for executing each skill.
- Offer practice opportunities and expert guidance in a simulated, secure environment.
- Enhance understanding and confidence in performing these procedures.
