This course, held at the Clinical Anatomy Skills Centre (CASC), is tailored for core trainees with an interest in orthopaedics at the ST1-3 level.
The course is taught by experienced Orthopaedic Surgeons and provides hands-on experience using fresh or frozen cadaveric material. The programme includes:
- Approaches to ankle fractures, including fixation of the lateral and medial malleolus
- Cannulated screw fixation of the posterior malleolus
- DHS fixation of intertrochanteric fractures
- Wrist volar approach plating
