Anaesthetists as Educators: teaching and training in the workplace | RCoA

This advanced workshop is designed to expand upon the knowledge and competencies acquired in the ‘Anaesthetists as Educators – An Introduction’ course. Targeted towards senior trainees, SAS doctors, and consultants with prior teaching and supervisory experience in clinical settings, this workshop delves into the education and assessment of trainee anaesthetists while illuminating key educational concepts.

Through interactive engagement, participants are encouraged to share their real-world teaching experiences to maximise learning outcomes. Please note: completion of pre-course reading/tasks is mandatory before attending this workshop.

For those aspiring to apply for membership of the Academy of Medical Educators (AoME), completion of both the one-day Introduction course and the two-day Teaching and Training Course, along with submission of associated homework, is required.
