This one-day course is designed for anaesthetic trainees and consultants who want to deepen their understanding of human factors and non-technical skills in anaesthesia. It is also suitable for anaesthetists in clinical or educational supervisory roles who wish to become more proficient in using ANTS for observing and providing feedback to trainees.

The faculty will provide pre-recorded lectures for you to view at your convenience before the course. These six lectures will be available two weeks prior to the event, and you are required to watch all of them before the course date. On the day of the event, the programme will include live recaps and Q&A sessions on the pre-recorded material, as well as breakout groups for interactive discussions.

Feedback from previous delegates includes:

  • “An excellent day of learning non-technical skills for anaesthetists, combining teaching and video demonstrations to facilitate effective and useful group discussions.”
  • “A fantastic mental tool for implementing technical knowledge to improve patient safety—I wish I had attended this earlier.”
  • “I’m glad that this event exists.”
